Overview of Basic Principles

Definition

Electrostatic adsorption technology redefined the new form of clamping equipment in the 21st century. Similar to an electromagnet, it can activate and stop the adsorption force on the object being held by setting the adsorption time and delay time. It can adsorb almost any object, such as metals, semiconductors, and insulators.

The Electrostatic Chuck, abbreviated as ESC or E-CHUCK, is known as 静电吸盘 or 静电卡盘 in Chinese. It is a new type of adsorption technology based on principles such as Coulomb's law, Lorentz force law, J-R effect, and electric potential gradient.

Different adsorption methods are employed based on the material characteristics of the object being adsorbed, thereby achieving effective adsorption of the object.
